About the Role:
As the Vascular Fellow, you will be responsible for the provision of high-quality care to patients in the wards, emergency department, outpatients, investigational and procedural areas. Responsibilities of this role may involve:
o Teaching and supporting registrars, junior medical officers and medical students.
o Scheduling elective theatre cases in partnership with the admissions office.
o Coordinating consultant-led patient care through rigorous communication channels with registrars and RMOs
o Active participation in departmental audit and research activity.
About you:
o Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
o Registrable with the Medical Board Australia as a Medical Practitioner.
o Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including colleagues and other professional staff.
o A commitment to providing a quality service to patients and their families.
o Ability to supervise more junior medical staff.
