As a Level 3 Systems Engineer, you're the third line of support for their clients. This means going above and beyond in every interaction—responding quickly, solving problems with care, and showing clients that we’re committed to their success.
Qualifications & Experience
* 5+ years experience in a Level 3 or Level 2 + technical support / IT Support capacity
* Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, Networking (Fortigate, Cisco, Unifi), Security (Defender, Sentinel), Storage & backup (Veeam, S3 (Wasabi, Azure), Windows Server 2012 - 2021)
* Advanced and complex understanding of Microsoft Modern Work knowledge environments (M365, Teams, Azure, InTune, Entra)
* Clear communicator with strong customer engagement experience
* Self-motivated & passion for technology / Customer service
* Strong communication skills & ability to relate to people
* Having experience working within an MSP (Managed Services) environment is highly attractive but not essential
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Act as a senior escalation point to the level 1 & 2 engineers, mentor & lead the way in resolving complex tickets & incidents
* Regularly tests new ideas/technology in the labs & help the business evolve through AI & Automation to make your life easier
* You apply strategic thinking to technical support. Every task you perform contributes to service quality, efficiency, and client trust
* Actively contribute to the mentoring and development of team members, develop processes and training for their practice
* Respond to L3 support requests across M365, networking, backup, Azure and general IT stack (Microsoft & Windows)
* Assist in executing the 100-day onboarding plan for new clients
* Maintain ticket queues & updating clients on progress
* Assist with Projects as required
* Focus on customer satisfaction, solve complex problems, tailor solutions to meet customer needs, communicating strongly & with empathy
* Support, deploy, manage, oversee & monitor systems, software & infrastructure
* Engage in complex troubleshooting of client environments & being the liaison between the business & client's
* Personalized progression plan allowing you to branch into your desired area of interest / specialization whether it be cloud, cyber security, IT consulting or another specialization
* Certification and up‑skilling is paramount, and you will get the investment to be at the forefront and technically as capable as possible
* Have access to unrestricted ability to troubleshoot your client's whole infrastructure environment
* Have the opportunity to join the projects team on implementing solutions
