**About the position**:
Reporting to the People & Culture General Manager and working as a senior member of the HR team, the role involves partnering with the state's business on all HR/IR matters and the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, in-line with the strategic direction and goals of the Company.
With a strong focus in managing employee relations and talent acquisition, this role will play an integral role in supporting the business in all things people management, and to champion HR/ER strategies, projects, initiatives, and recruitment activities. You will also provide leadership in fostering an open, positive working culture, whilst ensuring that all employment practices are compliant and conducted in line with Company policies and procedures. You will also play a key role in driving continuance improvement, enhancements, and engagement with company processes, policies and our exciting new talent management system.

- 5+ years' experience in a HR advisory/ similar position
- Experience in high level ER and disciplinary processes
- Experience/exposure in FWC conciliation and claims management
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated proactive approach and attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience and exposure in interpreting employment legislation and industrial instruments
- Exposure in working with and championing Talent Management / HRIS systems and projects
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
