Job Title: Strategic Partnerships Specialist
Division: Statewide Services, responsible for providing services and supports to schools to enable student achievement.

As a Strategic Partnerships Specialist, you will provide high-level professional and strategic support to develop, implement, and coordinate projects, programs, and initiatives that enhance teaching and learning outcomes. Your expertise will contribute to the design and delivery of system-wide strategies, ensuring the alignment of policy, resources, and services to improve student outcomes.
You will conduct research and analysis to inform policy development, prepare briefing materials and reports, and coordinate cross-divisional projects to support the Department of Education's strategic priorities.
In this role, you will engage with senior management, staff, and external stakeholders to build and maintain strong networks across schools, regions, and the wider community. You will provide specialized advice and collaborate across teams to facilitate integrated service delivery, ensuring initiatives are responsive to current and emerging needs.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing high-level professional and strategic support to develop, implement, and coordinate projects, programs, and initiatives.
* Conducting research and analysis to inform policy development.
* Preparing briefing materials and reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Substantial knowledge and understanding of the strategic direction of Western Australia's public education system and operations at a central, regional, and school level.
High-level planning and management skills with a proven ability to plan and coordinate initiatives in a complex environment.
Highly developed conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills and experience in applying strategic thinking to achieve outcomes.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships and networks.
