Limestone Coast Technical College: Shaping the Future of Technical Education in South Australia
Limestone Coast Technical College will be a visionary institution that aims to revolutionise technical education in South Australia. That State Government is investing in Technical Colleges that will set the standard for excellence in their design, learning environment, and delivery of skills-based training for school-enrolled students.
Located in the Education, Training and Research precinct on Wireless Road, set to open in 2026, Limestone Coast Technical College will provide students with access to industry training on a part-time basis while staying enrolled in their home school. It will support not only public students from across the Limestone Coast Region, but will be open to students from the private school sector.
Limestone Coast Technical College will have short stay accommodation facilities on site and offer four industry programs for careers in Agri-tech (for careers in forestry, agriculture and manufacturing), Early Childhood and Education, Health and Social Support, and Multi-trades (for careers as plumbers, builders, electricians).
We are searching for a facilities and maintenance professional to join our dynamic team and make a positive impact on our students.

What you will do:
- Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and improvement of all technical college buildings and specialised equipment, ensuring a high standard suitable for a technical education environment.
- Security and Safety: Coordinate security procedures, liaise with Police Security, and respond to emergency callouts to maintain a secure and safe environment for students and staff
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Operations Manager, external service providers, and Department for Education staff to manage assets and facilities effectively
What you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in establishing facilities, grounds systems and carrying out maintenance and repairs on school facilities
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships and to communicate positively and effectively with staff, students and external organisations
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and deliver tasks on required deadlines by exercising judgement and initiative as well as analysing problems and making recommendations for improvement
