Job Description:
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance professional to take on a leadership position and manage a large portfolio of clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tailored insurance solutions, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and managing a book of work worth circa $500k.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial and/or personal insurance clients
* Provide expert advice and tailored insurance solutions across multiple lines
* Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and service excellence
* Prepare and present insurance quotes, renewals, and policy documentation
* Liaise with underwriters and insurers to negotiate terms and resolve issues
* Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional insurance products
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal procedures
* Assist with claims management and client advocacy during the claims process
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in account management and be able to manage a book independently.
You will also need a broad mix of experience covering domestic and personal insurance, although knowledge of commercial lines would be beneficial.
A proven track record of managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, cross-selling, and retaining business is essential.
