The Technology team at Hall & Wilcox has just over 20 team members nationally structured across infrastructure, development, application support, information security and service desk.The IT Project Manager will work closely with the Director - Technology, the broader Technology team and other stakeholders to effectively plan and manage technology projects end-to-end.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Leading and managing end-to-end technology projects including:Defining project objectives, scope and deliveries in collaboration with the Director - Technology and internal stakeholders.Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, action lists, budgets and resource and task allocations.Resource allocation;Adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project;Monitoring progress of key deliverables, identifying and resolving issues as they arise;Scheduling project meetings and taking project meeting minutes;Communicating project status and updates to internal stakeholders;Monitoring scope changes, resourcing issues and risks and escalating issues to the Director of Technology as required;Implementing project management principles and tools to help deliver successful project outcomes;Implementing change management controls and tools;Identifying project opportunities; andDrafting periodic project reports for management meetings.About youYou will ideally have the following knowledge, skills and experience:Tertiary qualification/s in Information Technology or a related discipline;A minimum of two years of experience in IT project management delivering projects end-to-end;Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools;Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Ability to work collaboratively and independently; andProficient in at least one project management tool (e.g. MS Project, Trello, Jira).About usHall & Wilcox is a leading independent Australian law firm.
