Full-Time Cleaning Supervisor

Centralian Cleaning Services is seeking a mature, experienced and reliable Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in a full-time, hands-on role.
This position is ideal for someone who leads by example, takes pride in their work, and is confident supervising staff while also working as part of the cleaning team.
Our work is varied and includes regular domestic cleaning, office cleaning, builders cleans and vacate cleans, so we are looking for someone who is adaptable, practical and willing to get involved in all aspects of the job.
About the role
This is an active, site-based role, not an office-based supervisory position. You will be responsible for both cleaning and supervision, helping to maintain high standards, support staff, and keep jobs running smoothly.
The role is primarily Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, however applicants must be flexible and available for occasional evening and weekend work when required.
Key responsibilities
* Work as an active member of the cleaning team
* Supervise and support cleaners across a variety of sites
* Monitor quality and maintain high cleaning standards
* Help train and guide staff
* Communicate clearly with staff, management and clients
* Assist with problem-solving and day-to-day site issues
* Help ensure safe work practices are followed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous cleaning experience
* Previous supervisory or team-leading experience
* Excellent English communication skills
* A current driver's licence
* Confidence driving for work purposes
* A mature, dependable and professional approach
* Good organisation skills and the ability to work independently
* Willingness to work in an active, physical role
Desirable
* Experience in commercial and domestic cleaning
* Experience with builders cleans, vacate cleans or other labour-intensive cleaning work
* Experience training staff
* Ochre Card, or willingness to obtain one
