Job Title: Landscaping Professional
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscaping Professional to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about gardening and wants to make a difference in the Northern Territory.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting weekly pre-start inspections of vehicles and mowers, completing daily risk assessments, and performing various landscaping tasks such as mowing lawns, pruning plants, and maintaining garden beds.
Additionally, the candidate must have a Class C Driver's Licence (manual), ability to work under supervision and as a team member, knowledge of safety procedures and protocols, and a satisfactory National Police Security Check Report.
The ideal candidate will also possess a Certificate II or higher qualification in horticulture, extensive industry experience in gardening, and a chainsaw operator certificate.

Responsibilities:
* Conduct weekly pre-start inspections of vehicles and mowers.
* Complete daily risk assessments for each worksite.
* Mow, flat whip and straight edge lawns using push mowers, ride on mowers and edging machines.
* Plant garden beds, fertilise and spread mulch.
* Remove litter from garden beds and driveways.
* Operate leaf blower to clear leaves and grass clippings.
* Shape hedges with hedge shears or powered hedger.
* Prune plants to remove fronds and overgrown branches.
* Maintain the health of all plants by identifying and preventing diseases and pests.
* Use spraying equipment to control weeds, pests and insects.
* Carry out tasks with minimal inconvenience to customers, staff and the public.
* Place temporary warning signs when required.
* Operate equipment and machinery according to manufacturer's recommendations and our operating procedures.
* Report maintenance and repair issues to the area supervisor.
* Understand and comply with quality, safety, health and environmental policies.
* Follow written instructions and verbal direction to perform work.
Selection Criteria:
* Class C Driver's Licence (manual)
* Ability to work under supervision and as a team member.
* Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.

* Physical ability to perform duties of the position.
* Ability to perform manual work for long periods outdoors.
