Our modern 24 bed maternity ward provides maternity care for women and babies in the postpartum period. We are seeking a registered midwife to join our Midwifery Support Program. Our midwifery support program focuses on providing midwifery support and care to women, their babies and families within the home following their discharge from the hospital. You will be well supported, working alongside an enthusiastic team of Registered midwives, nursing, medical and allied health staff to provide compassionate high quality care to women and their babies through their transition in the postnatal journey.
You will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, assess, and evaluate care, ensuring clinical excellence through compassionate practice. Your role will also involve advocating for culturally safe care and escalating concerns appropriately to support optimal outcomes for women and their babies.

- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Midwife with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated recent experience as a Registered Midwife in a specialised maternity care environment, ready to deliver compassionate, culturally responsive care?
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, combining evidence-based care, thoughtful decision-making, and skilled communication to empower families throughout their birthing journey?
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted
