About The Opportunity
Join our Mt Thorley Rebuilds Workshop and be part of a highly skilled team delivering CAT machine rebuilds to world‐class standards.
Experience on heavy equipment or an interest in rebuilds/mining is highly regarded.
As part of our rebuild team, you'll support the full electrical rebuild lifecycle — from strip down through to testing and commissioning — ensuring every machine is delivered safely and performing to OEM standards.
* From $60/hr+ (incl. allowances) + OT from $89/hr (paid on all hours)
* 12.5hr day & night shifts | 5 weeks annual leave – work only half the year on a Lifestyle roster!
* Workshop-based CAT rebuilds | modern facility | stable, experienced team
What You'll Do
* Diagnose, repair and rebuild electrical, electronic and control systems on CAT equipment
* Install, test and commission wiring harnesses, sensors, modules and telemetry systems
* Perform fault finding during rebuild and commissioning stages
* Maintain a clean, safe and well‐organised workshop
* Work closely with Supervisors and trades to deliver quality rebuilds on time
What You'll Bring
* Australian recognised Auto Electrical Trade Qualification
* Experience across heavy equipment, rebuilds or transferable electrical skillsets
* Strong diagnostics and fault finding capability
* Proactive, safety‐first mindset; unrestricted driver's licence
