We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join our team in Nelson Bay, New South Wales. This part-time contract role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our accommodation facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will contribute to the overall guest experience in the travel and tourism industry. Responsibilities: Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas, ensuring all items are available for guest use. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens. Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored safely and correctly. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitising to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Qualifications: No formal education required; however, a secondary school certificate is preferred. Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is an advantage but not essential. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning.
