About The Role
We are seeking passionate and talented chefs who strive to exceed guests\' expectations and want to join a team that prioritises diversity and inclusion in a professional and fun working environment.
As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for preparing consistent, high-quality food products in line with Hyatt standards.
Responsibilities
Assisting in preparation of ingredients.
Follow recipes and ensure consistency in food preparation for large-scale banquet events.
Maintain the assigned station/section in a clean and orderly manner at all times.
Cook and assemble dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year work experience.
Experience in luxury international brands, highly regarded.
Qualification in Commercial Cookery.
Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards is essential.
A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast-paced customer service environment.
