Central Sterile Services Department Manager About the hospital Southbank Day Surgery is a busy and fast paced 23 hour short stay hospital, specialising in Dental and Oral surgery, Dermatology, Paediatric, Plastics, Gynaecology and Ophthalmology surgeries.
Our hospital includes 6 Operating Theatres and 3 Procedure Rooms with our own specialised MOH's laboratory.
About the Role Requires a candidate with a solid CSSD background, experience in the above specialties highly desirable.
Working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary, specialised healthcare team.
Supporting the GM/ DON with human, physical and financial resources and quality activities.
Driving high quality outcomes.
Education, mentoring and leadership of the CSSD team.
Ensure compliance to applicable standards and legislation.
Ensure compliance with the Infection Prevention & Control Program.
About You Solid experience in a fast paced CSSD hospital environment.
Cert 3 or Cert 4 in Sterilisation Services from an accredited provider essential.
Sound knowledge of sterilisation procedures, practices and standards.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
A true commitment to delivering high quality outcomes.
A passion for educating, mentoring and leadership.
Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation and experience with tracking systems.
Previous experience in a CSSD supervisory or management role desirable.
