About the role:
Gather by Cater Care is seeking a casual Catering Assistant to join our team at the Currimundi education site.
In this fast-paced kitchen environment, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals, assisting with events and functions, and ultimately helping to deliver an excellent dining experience. You will work within a supportive team where your contribution is valued, ensuring a dynamic and engaging workday.
Roster: Various days & hours
What This Role Involves
Assisting with food preparation and serving meals and snacks
Providing excellent customer service with a smile
Re-stocking items as needed and after meal periods
Washing dishes and keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and safe
Following all food safety and hygiene standards
Desired Skills And Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Friendly, positive attitude
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
