Immediate Start Available Full-time or Part-time Roles - Environmental Field Officer, Bush Regenerator – Central Queensland Location
Work will be based predominantly out of Biloela, with potential assignments in Gladstone, Rockhampton, Clermont, Miles and surrounding areas. This is not a FIFO role.

Role and Key Responsibilities
* Assist in carrying out ecological restoration projects, including brush cutting, weed control, large‐scale planting, and burn preparation.
* Follow field manual protocols, quality assurance and safety procedures.
* Actively seek opportunities for self‐development and training.
* Participate in training activities and complete all HSE forms related to project work.
* Use chain saws, 4WD and trailers, and engage in ecological burn-related activities where required.
Skills and Experience
Ideal candidates will have:
* Some experience in fieldwork, bush regeneration, natural area technician, land conservation, landscape labouring, brush cutting or planting.
* Desire to upskill and take on training.
* Conservation and Land/Ecosystem Management (Natural Area Restoration) Cert III qualification or similar practical in‐field experience, or the desire to work toward achieving these qualifications.
* Current manual driver's licence.
The following skills would be highly regarded:
* Plant identification skills – native and exotic across a variety of ecosystem types.
* ACDC Licence.
* Chemical application for weed control.
* Tool maintenance.
* Chainsaw cross‐cut and felling.
* 4WD and trailer experience.
* Ecological burn experience.
* First aid and CPR certificate.
* Experience with remote/ rural work.
