- Permanent Full Time 
- Salary: $76,302 - $85,765 gross p.a. plus 12% Super plus allowances 
- 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with a 9 day fortnight 
- Based from Bomaderry Precinct Depot

About the Role 
This position is responsible for undertaking efficient building construction and maintenance works for the Shoalhaven Swim, Sport & Fitness department public buildings. 
This includes: 
- Lead and coordinate tradesman, contractors, plant equipment and materials on building construction and maintenance projects 
- Carry out building condition inspections and record information in data bases 
- Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for building works and monitor expenditure of budgets 
- Liaise with staff and the public to deliver excellent service 
- Ensure compliance with legislation, Council policies and child safety protocols

Being available to be on-call and complete reasonable overtime is a requirement of this position. 
About You 
To be successful in the position, you will have: 
- Certificate IV in Building and or Construction or equivalent experience 
- Proven trade experience at a senior level 
- Current NSW General Construction Induction Card (White card) 
- Current Class C Driver's License 
- Willingness to obtain a First Aid Certificate 
- A current NSW Working with Children Check Job Description 
- Proof of Right to Work in Australia
