ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for driving direct sales of surgical solutions across hospital accounts, partnering closely with surgeons, operating theatre teams, and broader clinical stakeholders. You will take ownership of a market‐leading surgical portfolio for surgical stapling and repair across Canberra and the broader ACT region. This role would be well suited to a high‐performing medical sales professional who enjoys establishing strong relationships with physicians in theatre.
The role will be responsible for providing hands‐on in‐theatre support, developing long‐term relationships with key decision‐makers and identifying opportunities to expand product adoption within the territory. You will also play a key role in strengthening hospital partnerships and driving sustained portfolio growth across the region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Drive territory performance through strong customer engagement and relationship management
* Plan and implement effective sales strategies to meet commercial objectives
* Provide hands‐on clinical education and surgical support in operating theatres
* Leverage your industry knowledge and sales experience to effectively position and promote the portfolio
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity, partnering with the Regional Sales Manager to shape targeted growth strategies
ABOUT YOU
* Proven sales success within surgical or medical device sales preferred (pharmaceutical sales experience with interest in working in theatre is also highly regarded)
* Confident engaging with surgeons and clinical teams, with the ability to provide in‐theatre support
* Degree‐qualified in science, health, business, or a related discipline preferred
* Strong relationship‐building and stakeholder management capabilities
* Competent networker with the ability to influence and engage key decision‐makers
* Innovative, proactive thinker with strong commercial acumen
