Bidgerdii provides comprehensive primary healthcare and wellbeing services, collaborates with partner agencies for integrated continuity of care and advocates for health policy and healthsystem reform.
Our services include general practice bulk-billing clinics, social and emotional wellbeing and generalist counselling services, chronic disease management, preventative health screening, children and family health and early childhood education services.

About the Role
The purpose of the Early Childhood Coordinator (ECC) is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to develop to their full potential, so they have a smooth transition to school and become successful lifelong learners. As the Early Childhood Coordinator, you will improve pathways and connections for families experiencing vulnerability and disadvantages to access early childhood education, health, and development services.
As an Early Childhood Coordinator (ECC), one is expected to be an active team member of a team that provides high-quality early childhood education and care to children.
This includes:
* Developing strong relationships with children at the service.
* Developing strong relationships that support and partner with families and the community.
* Always implementing the policies and associated procedures of the organisations; and
* Working with other staff towards continuous improvement in all service operations areas.

About You
* A bachelor's degree in early childhood or working towards one is highly regarded. A diploma in children's services or a Cert III may be considered if you have experience/knowledge in a similar field.
* A sound understanding of curriculum planning and evaluation of play-based early childhood learning and development.
* Ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
* Ability to support practices aimed at improving learning, development and, school readiness outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
* Knowledge of commitment to evidence-based learning and development, including nature play.
* High-level knowledge and experience in using computers and office software, particularly Microsoft Office Suite, and a willingness to learn and use other software packages.

* Satisfactory Police Criminal History Check.
* Travel as required for service delivery
