Jet Ski Safaris is the leading jet ski tour provider on the Gold Coast, offering unforgettable experiences on the water. We are seeking a friendly and motivated Jet Ski Tour Guide who can also assist with marine maintenance and repairs to become a key player in our dynamic team.
Our guides are a critical part of our business and are responsible for creating outstanding traveler experiences for our guests whilst keeping them safe. The duration of our tours varies from as short as 30 minutes to 2.5-hour safaris, as well as group/private safaris and corporate bookings.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct pre-tour safety briefings and ensure all participants are informed of safety protocols.
* Lead jet ski tours and work within a team of guides for larger groups.
* Monitor the safety and equipment of all participants throughout the tour.
* Assist in the maintenance and basic repairs of jet skis, ensuring they are in top condition for daily operation.
* Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
* Promote a positive and memorable experience for all guests.
Requirements:
* Be willing to work peak periods (weekends, school holidays, Christmas period).
* Have an AWESOME personality – this role is all about customer service and creating a 'once in a lifetime' experience for guests.
* Be highly motivated, confident, and committed for the long run.
* Be physically fit (without any current or previous injuries that may impede safe operation).
* Be a TEAM player – We are seeking a 'people person' who thrives in a social, active, and outdoorsy environment.
* Must be approachable and comfortable leading small to large groups of people from various backgrounds, ages, and cultures.
* Knowledge of the Gold Coast waterways is a bonus but not a requirement.
* High level of initiative and ability to work well under pressure.
* Knowledge of other languages is a bonus but not a requirement.
Preferred Qualifications (Marine Mechanic Role)
In addition to the tour guide role, we are looking for someone with experience in marine mechanics to assist with the maintenance and repairs of our jet skis.
* Candidates should have experience as a: Qualified Marine Mechanic OR Light & Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Duties Include:
* Conducting routine servicing and troubleshooting of jet skis.
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
* Ensuring all equipment is maintained to a high safety standard.
Eligible Applicants Must Have:
* PWC License or Coxswain
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Driver's License
Have or be willing to obtain: First Aid + CPR Certification
