Role Overview:


Union Organiser

We invite applications for a dynamic and skilled individual to join our team as a Union Organiser. As part of our progressive organisation, you will play a vital role in advocating for the rights and interests of workers in the tertiary education sector.

Duties:

* Provide general administration support for the Branch and its Committees;
* Engage in organising, recruitment, and campaign activities;


In this full-time role, you'll find yourself at the heart of our organisation dedicated to shaping the future working lives for academic and general staff at various institutions. Regular travel between different campuses will be required.


Your key responsibilities include providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth operations within your designated areas. This may involve coordinating meetings with committees or branch representatives,


* distributing relevant information via email or internal noticeboards,

and fostering positive relationships with existing networks.
