Ventia's NSW Schools contract delivers quality Cleaning Services in Public Schools and Government facilities across the South Coast. As the Area Cleaning Supervisor you will be looking after multiple sites mainly within Penrith and involving frequent travel throughout the Western Sydney region.BenefitsVentia has the resources to help secure your future with long-term job stability on continuous contracts, options to relocate across the country and ability to have hands on training and upskillingYou’ll have exclusive access to employee benefits/discounts such as private healthcare, hotels, retail, and paid parental leave and lots more!About The RoleAttractive salary package of $91,000 plus company vehicleFlexibility in your work hours - Early morning starts with some split shiftsManaging an efficient roster of fulltime, part-time, and casual employeesBe prepared to do some hands-on cleaning at times when requiredManage your staff daily, including on call for sick leave or general inquiriesManagement approx. 30 sites throughout PenrithEnsuring all school sites are compliant in relation to site documentation, equipment, chemicals, and consumables to achieve contractual complianceCommunicating effectively with clients, customers and staff on issues pertaining to service delivery, operational issues, project progress and continual improvementSupervising staff and provide ongoing training and developmentPerforming regular inspections to ensure work is delivered at the highest standardPromoting and monitoring safe work practicesOffice days are on Wednesday in our Parramatta HQAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you must be flexible and willing to work different hours each day. Most days you’ll commence on site at 5am, no two days are the same and being adaptable to the needs of the business is critical.Demonstrated supervisory experience is essentialResilient & capable of supervising approx. 40-50 cleaners across all shift timesAbility to lead, motivate, and influence your staff members to deliver excellent resultsAn approachable, collaborative leader, who promotes a happy work cultureFocused on your professional growth and developmentStrong time management and multitasking skillsExperience with Microsoft programs, excel, outlook, etc.Please note that as part of the recruitment process, you will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol test) and be able to obtain a Police Check and Working With Children Clearance (WWCC).About VentiaVentia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
