Let's make a meaningful difference, together!**Your part in our UnitingCare team**We are currently seeking to appoint a **Family Counsellor** to work as a part of our UnitingCare Family and Relationship Service based at Bundaberg.In this role you will:* provides individual, couple and group counselling and education with an aim to strengthen family relationships* prevent breakdown and ensure the wellbeing and safety of children and adults who live in all kinds of families.Essential to the role is:* sound knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to provide counselling and related services within a therapeutic context to a range of clients with issues including, but not limited to, domestic and family violence, sexual abuse, child abuse, relationship discord and grief and loss.* Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, oral and written communication and advocacy skills are required along with a proven ability to work co-operatively within a multi-disciplinary team in a complex human services environment.## * Possession of a Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or Behavioural Science from a recognised tertiary institution coupled with prior experience.* Qld Suitability Card for Child Related Employment (Blue Card).* Current Drivers Licence* Willingness to undergo a criminal history check * **Flexible work arrangements** to support work-life balance* **NFP Salary Packaging:** Save tax and increase your take home pay by salary packaging your everyday living expenses and bills (up to $15,900) and meal entertainment (up to $2,650) per annum.
