We are on the lookout for an inspired, driven Senior Ranger with demonstrated experience in strategic/conservation planning & protected area management. This position will lead and supervise the Planning and Evaluation Team within South East QLD Region. Join our dedicated Ranger staff and make a meaningful impact by contributing to the long-term sustainability and conservation of the protected area natural & cultural values. In this role you will help guide the region in implementing the department's Values-based Management Framework across South East QLD Region.

About You
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about conservation, land management and working collaboratively. Your planning skills will be key in juggling and meeting competing priorities, while your ability to motivate and influence your team will be the key to achieving outcomes in a busy and changing environment. To be successful in the role, you will also have:
* Experience in protected area management and strategic planning.
* Demonstrated cultural capability.
* Demonstrated experience leading small teams.
* Strong computer skills including Microsoft suite.
* GIS skills would be highly regarded.
