As a Quality Inspector, you will play a vital role within the Inspection department, ensuring all manufactured components meet the highest standards of quality and customer requirements.
Your responsibilities as a Quality Inspector:
1. Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections on precision components.
2. Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
3. Utilise a range of measurement equipment, including micrometers, surface testers, and contour tracers.
4. Maintain accurate records through route card completion and ERP/MRP systems.
5. Work collaboratively with manufacturing teams and contribute to First Article Inspection Reporting (FAIR) processes.
Your current experience which will help you as a Quality Inspector:
1. CMM programming experience.
2. Strong knowledge of ISO & AS standards.
3. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply measurement evaluations.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Visio.
5. Experience within a precision engineering environment, with a keen eye for detail.
