As a field service engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing equipment at customer sites. This includes installing new machines, modifying existing ones, and ensuring they meet production efficiency targets.
Your role will involve building relationships with customers across their organisations, providing technical support and training to help them operate and maintain equipment effectively.
You will work closely with customers' machinery operators, technicians, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless equipment operations and provide expert support on machine performance.
This is a dynamic role that requires strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication. You will be responsible for identifying root causes of machinery issues, developing remediation plans, and collaborating with customers to implement solutions.
To succeed in this position, you will need 3-5 years of experience as a mechanical engineer or in a related field. Advanced electrical engineering skills, particularly with servo-driven equipment, are highly desirable. PLC experience is also a plus.
