Investment Associate – Australian Private Equity (Infrastructure) – 2026 Opportunity
JS Careers is partnering with a leading Australian private equity fund to recruit an Investment Associate for its Sydney-based team. This is an early 2026 opportunity, with the firm planning ahead for continued growth across infrastructure investments in Australia and New Zealand.
The role sits within a lean investment team focused on core plus infrastructure, offering broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle and close interaction with senior investors and management teams.
The team is open to candidates with 1.5–5 years’ experience from investment banking, management consulting, private equity or direct investing, with strong analytical capability and an interest in infrastructure and real assets.
Role Responsibilities
* Investment origination and deal screening
* Financial and commercial due diligence
* Transaction execution and advisor coordination
* Financial modelling and valuation
* Preparation of investment committee materials
* Supporting portfolio companies on strategic initiatives and M&A
Candidate Requirements
* 1.5-4 years’ relevant experience in investment banking, management consulting, or direct investment
* Strong financial and analytical skills
* Relevant tertiary qualification
* High attention to detail and strong communication skills
