Job Opportunity
We are seeking a Building Designer to join our team.
This is a full-time role; five days a week in the office, producing concept sketches, town planning documentation & construction documentation while taking into account planning overlays and ResCode requirements.
Our ideal candidate will have strong building design skills, relevant tertiary qualifications, and experience working on high-end projects.
* Key responsibilities include:
o Producing concept sketches, town planning documentation & construction documentation;
o Reading and interpreting architectural working drawings, engineering, soil reports and specifications;
o Having a good understanding of local planning overlays;
o Solid experience with high-end single dwellings, townhouses, apartments, and commercial projects;
o Flair in design with trending materials;
o Comprehensive knowledge in relevant Australian Standards & NCC;
o Solid design & documentation skills, with the ability to coordinate all aspects of a project from Schematic Design to Construction ensuring compliance and standards are maintained;
o Strong time management skills with ability to plan, organize and prioritize own workload;
o Exceptional attention to detail and ability to coordinate sub-consultants.
