About the role
We are seeking Exhibition Stand Builders to join our team at ML Exhibition and Events in Brisbane. As a casual employee, you will be responsible for the construction and dismantling of Exhibition shell scheme and custom-designed exhibition stands for our clients' events, conferences and trade shows. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and creative team, working on high-profile projects in the local area.
What you'll be doing
* Constructing exhibition stands, displays, and structures to client specifications
* Dismantling and packing up exhibition stands at the end of events
* Providing excellent customer service to clients throughout the process
* Working collaboratively with the wider events team to deliver successful projects
* Maintaining and caring for all tools and equipment used on site
* Ensuring all stands are built to the highest quality and safety standards
What we're looking for
* No prior experience required, but Proven experience as an Exhibition Stand Builder or in a similar construction/assembly role a bonus
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work from technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent manual dexterity and practical building skills
* Good time management and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
* Team members who are flexible with their availability—our roster runs 24/7 and may include early starts, late finishes, and weekend or overnight shifts.
* Also many overnight shifts available for Christmas Decoration, Tree and Santa Set installs getting closer to the festive season.
* A keen eye for design and an understanding of current exhibition trends
* A valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation (preferred but not necessary)
* Able to work in Brisbane, Gold Coast and possibly Sunshine Coast Locations
