Position: Support Worker
Location: Bendigo, VIC
Employment Type: Part-time (2 days per week, 14 hours total)
Pay Rate: $35.15 per hour
Experience Required: 1–2 years in a similar role
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to provide tailored assistance to clients in Bendigo. The role involves supporting individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their wellbeing in line with care plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and assistance with daily living tasks.
* Support clients in community participation and social engagement.
* Assist with household tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and shopping.
* Follow individual care plans and maintain accurate documentation.
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
Qualifications & Skills
* Must be a Female Support Worker (participant preference)
* Minimum 1–2 years of experience in disability or aged care support.
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability or Aged Care) or equivalent (preferred).
* Current First Aid and CPR certification.
* Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Understanding of privacy, dignity, and cultural sensitivity in client care.
* Native English speaker.
