The Role 
Reporting directly to the GM, this position will play a pivotal role in delivering commercial insights that drive business performance. Acting as a true strategic partner, you will work closely with senior leaders whilst running the Finance function. 
- Manage the finance team 
- Assess and review capital expenditure initiatives related to new and existing products, providing financial insight and strategic recommendations for Board-level decision making. 
- Overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting 
- Providing analysis and insights to support business performance and growth opportunities 
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax, and regulatory obligations 
- Managing cashflow, balance sheet, and working capital requirements 
- Leading and mentoring a small finance team to deliver operational excellence 
- Partnering with senior leadership on strategy, projects, and business planning 
- Operational analysis & efficiency opportunities: Identify areas for operational improvement through data-driven analysis, driving greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness across business units. 
- Compliance & Controls: ensure strong internal controls and execution of audit activities. 
Your Skills & Experience (Qualifications) 
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA or CA accreditation preferred. 
- Experience in construction or industrial environments is highly advantageous. 
- Strategic mindset with the ability to see the big picture while maintaining strong attention to detail. 
- Proficient in financial planning and modelling, including advanced Excel and Power BI skills. 
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate effectively across operations up to board level. 
- Full working rights in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa).
