You will have qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science or relevant field and experience developing, writing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs) a current registration or eligibility for registration with the Australian Social Work Association.The roleThe role of a Behaviour Support Practitioner is to develop, implement and evaluate positive behaviour management plans including strategies and recommendations to support people with complex needs and behaviours of concern to achieve positive outcomes; with the aim of reducing and or eliminating restrictive practices.You will provide information, guidance and training using evidence-based, person-centred approaches to support individuals to achieve their personal goals whilst maintaining choice and control.
