We are a proud Indigenously owned business and are dedicated to working closely with our clients, completing vital projects to deadlines and providing them with a successful outcome resulting in long term business relationships and infrastructure that's built to last. We offer core services with regard to civil contracting and also provide management of the classification, removal and validation of most hazardous materials.

We currently have an opportunity for experienced Plant Operators and Civil Construction Workers to join our team based in Canberra, with the potential for works to be undertaken in the ACT and NSW.

Key responsibilities for the roles include:
PLANT OPERATOR:
**Perform a variety of site-based tasks involving the operation of heavy machinery to support civil construction projects, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with project requirements.**
- Operate plant machinery such as excavators, loaders, graders, rollers, and skid steers for earthworks, trenching, backfilling, and compaction.
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on machinery to ensure safe operation.
- Follow project plans and instructions to carry out site tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Support site setup, including implementation of sediment and erosion control measures.
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors and team members to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and site-specific WHS requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues with equipment or site conditions.

CONSTRUCTION WORKER:
**Perform a variety of site-based tasks to support civil construction projects, including manual labour, installation of materials, equipment operation, and site maintenance**
- Perform general construction work on civil construction sites, including excavation, trenching, concreting, and compacting.
- Assist with the installation of kerbs, gutters, pavements, and other civil infrastructure.
- Carry out basic set out of works such as trenches, footings, excavation depths and location and drainage lines.
- Operate and maintain construction tools, machinery, and equipment as required.
- Support sediment and erosion control efforts to meet environmental compliance requirements.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
- Follow directions from supervisors and work collaboratively with team members.

You will have suitable experience in a similar role, along with the following skills:

- Ability to use your initiative and be proactive
- Exceptional organisational, time efficiency, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions
- Highly motivated
- High level of attention to detail

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Construction Industry White Card (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
