Job Description
The Katherine Museum is a significant cultural institution in the Northern Territory, and we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Museum Program Officer to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to visitors, ensuring that they have a welcoming and engaging experience.
You will also be responsible for maintaining the museum site, ensuring that exhibits are well-maintained and public spaces are clean and safe. Additionally, you will assist in developing tours and educational programs to enhance visitor engagement.
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. You must also have excellent organizational skills and experience coordinating programs and events. A passion for local history, culture, and community engagement is essential.
