My client, a well-known Electrical contracting entity in the Victorian industrial market, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their company.
Projects include manufacturing facilities, chemical plants, oil and gas projects, mining, petrochemical, and infrastructure works.
Duties & Requirements:
- Project Management
- Capital Budget Development
- Contract Administration
- Project Schedule Development and management
- Preparation of tender documents
- Evaluation of tenders
- Procurement
- Project Reporting
- Sub-contractor management (Inspection, Control & QA/QC)
- Site Supervision
- Staff Training
- Low Voltage
- AS3000 Extensive Knowledge
- Single Line Diagram and schematic drawing development
- Motor Control Centre Design, Test & Installation
- Motor Starter design and application, DOL, S-D, VSD, Soft Starter etc
- Site Electrical Safety Audits
- Automation
- Process control cubicle design
- PLC system interface design
- Reading and understanding P&IDs;
- Generating Functional Descriptions
- Determining I/O Requirements
- AB and Siemens PLC configuration/programming
- HMI and SCADA configuration/programming
- Vision, robotic systems configuration/programming
- FAT, SAT and Commissioning activities
- Machine Guarding
- Design, equipment selection, implementation of basic safety relay circuits in accordance with AS4024.1 series of standards
- Knowledge of the Code of Practise
- Knowledge of the NOHSC Plant Code
- Undertake safety audits
- Process Safety
- Electrical representation at Process HAZOP studies and CHAZOP
