The Role
Reporting to the National HR Lead, this site-based leadership role offers the chance to shape the employee experience and drive strategic HR initiatives. You'll lead a small team and collaborate closely with operational leaders to foster a high-performance culture and support continuous improvement.
This is more than a compliance focused HR role, it's an opportunity to influence culture, guide change, and build capability across the workforce.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor small HR team, ensuring alignment with broader organisational goals
* Partner with site leadership to embed a culture of accountability, engagement, and performance
* Provide strategic support on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning
* Drive adoption of HR systems and streamline processes for efficiency and transparency
* Oversee policy development and ensure compliance with employment legislation and enterprise agreements
* Champion change initiatives and support leaders through transformation efforts
What You'll Bring
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
* Proven experience in a senior HR role, ideally within manufacturing, logistics, or food production
* Strong working knowledge of industrial relations frameworks and enterprise agreement interpretation
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change and foster continuous improvement
* Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
* Sound judgement, time management, and decision-making capability
