Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Operational Monitor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fish pens.
* Monitor and control feed rates for our fish pens to optimize growth and health.
* Identify and report any unusual fish behavior or equipment issues that may impact operations.
* Review data on feed rates, mortalities, and fish weights to identify performance trends and areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with marine teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
This is a permanent full-time role based in Hobart, Australia, requiring a rotating roster including Thursdays to Saturdays. You must be comfortable with early starts and evening finishes. A calm and analytical approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential.
