The Anindilyakwa Land Council (ALC) represents the Traditional Owners of the Groote Archipelago. The ALC is a 'future-forward' Land Council, directed by the 14 clans of the Groote Archipelago region, enabling the Anindilyakwa people to take full advantage of the opportunities and technology available in the 21st century, while simultaneously preserving land, language and culture.
The ALC functions to ascertain and express the wishes and opinions of the Anindilyakwa people as to the management of the land and sea in the Groote archipelago region, protecting the interests of the Traditional Owners, assisting in the protection of sacred sites, assist the Anindilyakwa people in traditional land claims, negotiation with persons desiring to obtain an estate or interest in the land, assist Traditional Owners in carrying out commercial activity, and supervise and provide administrative and other assistance for Land Trusts holding Indigenous land in the Groote archipelago region.

About the role:
The Warehouse Coordinator will oversee and manage the day-to-day logistics of running the warehouse for the Groote archipelago, including actively participating in picking, packing and delivering.
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for creating value by ensuring reliable, high-quality service to ALC and the Groote archipelago residents and businesses and fostering strong traditional owner employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overall responsibility for managing and leading Warehouse operations.
* Development of a workplace culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, employee retention and high performance.
* Ensure all goods received are inspected, recorded and dispatched to receiving recipients.
* Ensure a good working relationship with both ALC staff and suppliers to ensure the customer gets exactly what they order and troubleshoot for any orders that are incorrect, sourcing correct stock.
* Ensure follow up with customers that goods are in good working condition after delivery and resolve any discrepancies/complaints.
* Maintain comprehensive data quality - ensure completeness, accuracy and validity across all systems.
Selection Criteria:
Essential
* Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics coordination role
* Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Indigenous employees
* Current forklift and medium rigid (MR) licences, or willingness to obtain within 3 months with ALC support
* Strong time management and adaptability in handling competing priorities
* Proficient in MS Office and warehouse management systems
What's on offer?
* Attractive Remuneration starting from $90,000
* Annual leave: 5 weeks per annum
* Personal leave: 18 days per annum
* Salary Sacrifice available (up to $18,500 per year)
* 2 weeks paid Christmas/New Year shut down - in addition to annual leave
* This role will be based in Darwin, with travel to the Groote Archipelago and other locations as required
