This is an exciting opportunity to work with Flourish Australia, supporting individuals who have a lived experience of mental health issues.
The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team, working in outreach and accommodation settings.

* Listen to and create opportunities that meet the interests and needs of service users.
* Ensure individual support is provided, focusing on strengths-based recovery and led by the person wherever possible.
As a Mental Health Worker or Peer Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting people to maintain wellness and achieve their goals.
We value lived experience and believe peer support is a powerful part of the mental health recovery journey.
The positions available are:
* Closed-term full-time parental leave relief until March 2026
* Casual
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate IV or above in a relevant field OR a minimum of 2-years full-time experience working in the human services field.
* A strong commitment to recovery-based practice in the workplace.
* A personal lived experience of a mental health issue and recovery (Peer Worker role only).
* Understanding of the challenges faced by people with a lived experience of a mental health issue.
* Understanding of, and ability to effectively use, Microsoft Office and knowledge of data information management systems.
* A current Australian Driver's Licence.
