Position Overview:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Quotes Coordinator is responsible for preparing accurate, detailed, and timely quotations for home modification and maintenance services, tailored to the needs of clients under the Aged Care and NDIS programs. Drawing on a solid background in trade and building practices, the coordinator will interpret client requirements, and compliance standards to provide quotes that align with funding guidelines, building codes, occupational therapy recommendations, and organisational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with Customer Care to prepare detailed quotations for home modifications and maintenance works (e.g., ramps, rails, bathroom modifications, accessibility upgrades).
Interpret occupational therapist reports and translate clinical recommendations into practical, compliant solutions.
Liaise with clients, internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to clarify scope, timelines, and compliance requirements.
Ensure quotes are accurate, competitive, and aligned with relevant funding schemes (NDIS, Home Care Packages, CHSP & Support @ Home).
Maintain knowledge of applicable building codes and home modification guidelines.
Assist with procurement of materials and contractor pricing as required.
Support the team in tracking quote approvals, variations, and job progress.
Uphold the organisation's values and commitment to client-centred care and safety.
Key Selection Criteria:
Proven domestic trade background in building, carpentry, or similar field (minimum 2 years' experience).
Previous experience quoting residential modification or maintenance works.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, OT reports, and building specifications.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple quotes and deadlines.
Demonstrated computer literacy - Microsoft Office suite / Workflow Max.
Police Check & Working with Children check.
Experience working in a not-for-profit or community-based organisation.
Understanding of Aged Care programs, and relevant compliance and funding requirements.
Experience liaising with occupational therapists and clients with diverse needs.
