ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you looking for a flexible role where you can put your customer service and administration skills to work while gaining valuable local government experience?
Join our team at South Gippsland Shire Council! We are looking to increase our casual workforce with experienced Administration and Customer Service Officers to fill short term vacancies in various positions across Council. These positions will mainly be located in Leongatha; however you may be required to work from Foster or Korumburra.
The hourly rate will vary depending on each role but will generally commence at $45.67 per hour (including 25% casual loading).
We offer a supportive team environment, excellent work conditions, opportunity to develop your skills and a potential pathway to other roles within Council. You will also undertake training across relevant software and systems to help set you up for success.
As these are casual positions, please note that any offer of employment will not guarantee the future offer of any hours of work.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful you will:
- Have previous experience in office administration, reception or customer service roles.
- Be adaptable, flexible and able to manage your time effectively and efficiently.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with all levels of the organisation.
- Have computer literacy and ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
