About the Role
As a Health & Development Clinician with Brighter Beginnings, you will:
Deliver transdisciplinary health and development checks to 4-year-old children attending preschools and ECEC settings.
Provide advice, support, and education to parents/carers and early childhood staff.
Work collaboratively with ECEC centres, health providers, and community stakeholders to ensure services are coordinated, efficient, and proactive.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the program, including refining work processes and the model of care.
Support the development of future clinicians through supervision of students and early-career staff as the initiative grows.
Travel across the Local Health District to deliver services in targeted areas.
About You
Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to different families and settings.
Collaborative mindset and a genuine commitment to working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues and education professionals.
Interest in developing your skills in project implementation, improvement science, and supervision.
Proactive, organised approach and the ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team culture.

Requirements
Must hold a qualification in Occupational Therapy and general registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
