Starting any time from now until the new year, you will work alongside another experienced heavy diesel mechanic sharing leadership of workshop operations and helping to shape the future of the farm's workshop whilst ensuring the farm fleet is ready to meet seasonal demands.
Duties include: coordinating preventative maintenance and spare parts management and working collaboratively with the workshop team to service, diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems across a variety of heavy machinery, trucks, vehicles and farm equipment.
Qualifications: a heavy diesel (or equivalent) trade qualification, minimum 3 years previous relevant experience, leadership ability & problem‑solving skills, enjoys sharing skills & knowledge through mentoring junior staff, models and promotes safe working practices, effective communication & record‑keeping skills, organised & efficient with tidy presentation, manual driver's licence, truck licence advantageous.
