The position oversees Barista duties, overall customer experience and operations, responsible for staff management (hiring, training, scheduling), maintaining a clean and inviting area, ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory and supplies, and coordinating communication between the front and back-of-house teams to drive customer satisfaction and cafe profitability.
Overall, a Gun Barista who play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers while delivering high-quality beverages, food and service in a fast paced work environment.
Responsibilities
- Staff Management: Recruitment and Training – Hire, train, and schedule FOH staff, such as servers, hosts, and baristas; Supervision – Oversee daily shift operations, ensure staff adhere to internal policies, and maintain excellent customer service standards.
- Customer Experience: Coffee preparation of beverages according to customer preferences and cafe standards; ensure guests receive a warm welcome, excellent service, and a positive overall experience; knowledge of special diets and alternative milk options; upselling and promotions; issue resolution.
- Operational Management: Front of House operations, inventory and supplies management, menu knowledge and recommendations, cash handling and POS systems, facilitate communication between front and back-of-house staff.
- Administrative Tasks: Scheduling FOH staff, budgeting assistance, health & safety compliance.
