 
        
        Antimicrobial Stewardship Leadership Role
This strategic position plays a crucial part in leading and supporting the implementation of the Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) Program across Western Sydney. As a clinical leader, you will ensure the safe, effective, and responsible use of antimicrobials.
 * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive impactful change in combatting antimicrobial resistance.
You will work closely with infectious diseases experts and clinical leaders to develop and deliver evidence-based practice and education.
 * Drive data-informed interventions to optimise antimicrobial prescribing.
 * Foster a culture of quality improvement and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Lead AMS strategy and quality improvement initiatives.
 * Develop and implement policies and procedures for AMS.
 * Provide expert clinical advice on antimicrobial pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.
About You:
 * You hold a tertiary qualification in Pharmacy and are registered with AHPRA and the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
 * You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 * You have experience in clinical pharmacy practice, particularly in managing infectious diseases.
