Walk Alongside Families as a Parent Pathways Senior Mentor – Port Pirie

As a Parent Pathways Senior Mentor, you'll play a trusted leadership role in Port Pirie, supporting families directly while guiding and mentoring staff who are deeply committed to making a difference where it matters most.
About the Role
This role is about relationships, leadership, and local impact.
As a Parent Pathways Senior Mentor, you will:
* Walk alongside parents and families experiencing complex life challenges, offering respectful, strengths‐based support
* Provide high‐quality, person‐centred case management, including support with complex and escalated cases
* Provide guidance, coaching, and day‐to‐day support to Parent Pathways Mentors, helping them navigate challenges, build confidence, and strengthen their practice
* Support the Team Leader to ensure consistent, culturally safe, and high‐quality service delivery across the program
* Build strong, trusted relationships with local community organisations, employers, training providers, and government services
* Represent the Parent Pathways program within the Port Pirie community and contribute to partnerships that improve outcomes for families
This is a hands‐on leadership role where your guidance supports both families on their journeys and mentors in their professional growth, strengthening the program's impact across the community.

What You'll Bring
Your Experience & Values
* Experience supporting families or individuals with multiple and complex needs in a community or human services setting
* Confidence providing complex case management with empathy, professionalism, and accountability
* Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting other practitioners
* A collaborative approach and strong commitment to social inclusion and culturally safe practice
* The ability to build trust with families, colleagues, and community partners
* Strong organisational skills and confidence managing reporting and compliance requirements
Qualifications & Checks
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Services (Social Work, Education, Youth Work, Employment Services) or equivalent experience
* Training or experience working with families facing complex barriers
* Child Safe Environments and RAN‐EC certification
* Current DHS Working with Children Check (essential)
