Job Title: Director of Learning and Development
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Education, Training and Research department in a dynamic healthcare organization. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the future direction of organisational learning, development and research.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct leadership, support and management to the education and research team to ensure quality outcomes are achieved
* Leads department strategic planning and contributes to organisational strategic planning, taking accountability for the achievement of the Organisation Learning and Development outcomes
* Provide regional and sub-regional leadership, seeking opportunities to share, partner and build stronger networks that lead to enhanced outcomes
* Accountable for the oversight of the education budget, including the management and acquitting of grant funds
* Direct and support the implementation of the research portfolio across the region and Lead the governance oversight of research including the site readiness for clinical trials
Requirements:
* Minimum Bachelor Qualification in Education, Business or Human Resources or; Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant health related field
* Demonstrated ability to think critically and work with autonomy
* Established leadership qualities, including well-developed communication skills to seek and build key relationships
