Achieve something great as a Social Worker with Fairfield Drug Health Service, where you will support recovery journeys and help drive meaningful change in a specialist inpatient setting.

Responsibilities
* Join a close-knit, highly experienced Inpatient Withdrawal Management Unit and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
* Deliver evidence-based, strengths-focused, and recovery-oriented care to support clients through their treatment and wellbeing journey.
* Work closely with consumers to develop, coordinate, and implement personalised recovery plans that build resilience and achieve individual goals.
* Play an active role in quality improvement initiatives, helping to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
* Make a tangible difference every day by empowering individuals and supporting positive, long-term recovery outcomes.

* Demonstrate strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and effective time management to manage complex caseloads.
* Bring excellent communication, active listening, and documentation skills to support high-quality, client-centred care.

* Apply sound client assessment, case planning, and problem-solving skills to support recovery-oriented outcomes.
* Thrive in a collaborative team environment, with the ability to adapt, resolve conflict, and confidently de-escalate challenging situations.
Selection Criteria
* Relevant qualifications as a qualified Social Worker eligible for registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
* Describe a time you reviewed a client and identified gaps related to risk (e.g., current charges/antecedents, mental health, DV, child protection).
* What is your understanding of and commitment to harm reduction and consumer led recovery principles?
* Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
