In this key role, you will oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensure compliance, and drive performance while delivering exceptional service to our valued customers.
The Role:
As the Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership, operational management, and clinical excellence of the pharmacy. This is an opportunity to shape the direction of the pharmacy, develop your team, and contribute to the growth and success of Bendigo UFS Pharmacies.
Key Responsibilities:
•Provide guidance, direction, and support to the pharmacy team, ensuring high standards of care and service for customers.
•Oversee team performance, training and development.
•Manage all aspects of pharmacy operations, including inventory management, financial performance, and staff management.
•Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, maintaining efficient service delivery.
•Lead the team in delivering professional, knowledgeable, and empathetic service to customers.
•Offer expert advice on medications, health products, and services, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.
•Oversee the pharmacy’s budget, financial performance, and cost control strategies.
•Implement initiatives to drive growth, profitability, and business improvement.
•Ensure adherence to legal, clinical, and operational standards.
•Maintain a safe and efficient work environment for staff and customers.
About You:
We are looking for a passionate Pharmacy Manager with proven leadership skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to drive operational success.
Essential Criteria:
•Bachelor of Pharmacy and current registration with AHPRA.
•Minimum 5 years' experience in a community or hospital pharmacy setting.
•Proven leadership and team management experience.
•Strong organizational, financial management, and time management skills.
•Excellent communication and customer service skills.
•Ongoing commitment to continuing professional education and development, including management and leadership. (desirable)
•Experience with forward pharmacy and excellent OTC product knowledge. (desirable)
