The Opportunity
Our Lysaght business is looking for an Operations Supervisor – Afternoon Shift to join the team based in Archerfield, QLD. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.
Using 100% Australian made steel in the manufacturing process, you’ll be key to providing customers with what they need, when they need it. as you're managing the day-to-day operations of the facility.

What Will You Do?
As someone who is committed to the safety of their team and delivering on customer expectations you will:
* lead and supervise our operations area including production, machine operation, loading and maintenance in collaboration with our afternoon and night shift Operations Supervisors
* support and assist your team with daily operational activities
* initiate and lead site improvement projects
* identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and mitigate risk - striving for on time delivery for our customers
* ensure safety standards are continuously evolving, championing change when risks and opportunities are identified
* grow and mentor your team to develop their technical capability and cross-skill team members
